On the morning of your choice take off to Lahinch – the most popular destination in the Mid West for catching waves, located just 60 minutes drive through picturesque landscape from the hotel. With the two-mile long beach in Lahinch it caters for novice, intermediate and experienced surfers. 5 miles further south you will find Spanish Point, another perfect surfing beach. Both are some of the best places in Europe to learn surfing with the advantage of the slower rolling Atlantic waves!!

Established in 2002 by Former Irish Surfing Champion John McCarthy, Lahinch Surf School was the first of it's kind in Ireland and is the only Irish Surfing Association recognised Surf School in County Clare, Galway and Limerick areas. Founded around Irish surfing Association guidelines, we are the only surf school using completely qualified Irish Surfing Association Qualified Instructors and IWS/RLSI lifesaving qualifications. All the instructors are expert surfers and most importantly, patient and attentive surf instructors.
